Founded in 1990, the Friends of the Morse Institute Library is a volunteer-led non-profit supporting the programs and priorities of the Morse Institute Library. Our funds help provide patrons with museum passes, Speed Reads, large print books, programs for all ages, and much more.  Join us!

    Check with the library before heading out to area museums and attractions.   1. Hi, I am interested in working as a volunteer at the library. I am a retired lawyer/homemaker who has patronized the library for years. Please let me know if you are looking for helpers! Holly Glidden

    • Holly, I can’t speak for the library, which may have its own volunteer pool, but we’d love to have you as a member of the Friends and a Friends volunteer. You can pick up a membership form at the Friends’ Book Nook in the library lobby and indicate that you’d like to volunteer. You can also join on the website and then email morsefriendsvol@gmail.com. (We’re a membership-based nonprofit, and dues are an important part of our fundraising effort.) – Terri Evans, President
