It’s hard to believe, but this year marks the Book Nook’s 5th anniversary.
As part of our celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week (Oct 18-24), we’re temporarily expanding the Book Nook to offer a wide selection of music CDs, priced at $1 each. That’s 50% off their regular $2 price. Bring small bills or a big shopping list: the Nook is exact change only, and shoppers pay for purchases at the Honor Box at the Nook shelf closest to the elevator.
Thanks to everyone who’s been donating books, CDs/DVDs, games, and puzzles since the library reopened. All donated materials are quarantined for 72 hours before being sorted or sold.
The Nook is open during regular library hours. All proceeds from our sales help the Friends support Library programs, including museum passes and Speed Reads.
