The Friends have been long standing supporters of the summer reading program for children. Our support allows the Library Children’s Department to purchase materials and reading incentives and hire special performers in support of this important program. Over 500 children each summer are introduced to books and instilled with a love of reading that will stay with them for life. Sign up for “Dig Into Reading” starts the last day of school.
